The forest north of your sleepy hometown has long been feared and respected by those who know it. It’s dense and mysterious, and many spread rumors of violent and strange inhabitants lying in wait for the ignorant wanderer. When you find that you must travel through it, you’re given a choice: treat the woods with the deference you’ve always been taught, or suffer the consequences.

First off, I love the title screen. I personally think that the text is a bit too small, but while playing in full screen it's fine. The background ambience added to the experience in a great way.  The fading text when the player is about to die is a great touch too.

I personally think the text are a bit small, but maybe this fit the sense of horror.

The animation is very attractive! It succeeded in creating a sense of horror, and the music was full marks.

The trembling text effects are also great.

Looking forward to you adding more pictures or animations.

Really immersive and creepy (in a good way)! I loved the story and the different choices you can make, the art and the sounds really added more depth to it. Everything was clear and easy to understand. Great job!

This was very spooky. (But in a really good way!)

The gifs you put in were a really nice touch, and I feel like you chose the best place to put them.

The background music also really helped a lot with setting the mood.

I really liked the audio aspect to the game, with the illustrations you drew. It really tied the game together.

i don't hear the audio for some reason but it's a really cool story

Loved the feel of this game! And how you made your images gifs, it adds to the atmosphere of the game. My only suggestion would be to make the text a smidge bigger, it's a bit hard to read at the size it's at now.

I love the feel of this, very creepy. Everything is very cohesive and fits the theme. My only suggestion would be to make the text a little bit bigger.

I played this through a couple times (I died the first time). I really like the creepy vibes you have with the audio and the story is really compelling. The only suggestions I have is to maybe maybe have the heavy breathing go on for longer in the passage where the player dies? It would be more scary and stressful to read the final paragraph while it was playing still. Also maybe add a gif of some part of the creature there as well like you have of the ranger banging on  the window.

The ambient sound does a really good job of setting the mood, and the other effects, like the way some words jitter and the fact that all of the art moves works well together.
